Lactium®'s origins

The discovery of Lactium® originates in the observation of the calm and relaxed state of newborns after ingesting milk.

Researchers have proved that this calm state is induced by the release of a bioactive decapeptide produced during digestion in the infants' immature digestive tract. When growing up, the digestive system is no longer able to release this decapeptide out of milk.

A perceived and physiologically measured effectiveness

Six randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies were conducted on 234 volunteers. Lactium® was tested at a dosage of 150mg/day.

These studies proved the effectiveness of Lactium® by measuring physiological parameters indicating the stress level (arterial tension, pulse, cortisol level, etc...)

Moreover, the volunteers showed a significant reduction of their stress-related disorders: Lactium®'s anti-stress effect is therefore clearly perceived by consumers suffering from chronic stress.

In addition, these studies confirmed that Lactium® is innocuous, that it does not produce side-effects nor habituation.
